Factors that influence battery consumption include: - Reporting frequency (shorter intervals use more battery) - GPS usage - Environmental conditions (extreme heat or cold) - Sensor activity (such as shock detection) Because of this, battery percentage may change as shipment conditions or reporting settings change. ### Battery Optimization Tip GPS provides higher location accuracy but uses more power. It’s best suited for short-haul or time-sensitive shipments. For longer shipments, such as ocean freight, less frequent reporting and non-GPS tracking can help extend battery life. ### **Real-Time Battery Monitoring** - Battery status can be checked via the **Trackers page**. - **Low battery indicators**: A blinking red light or no indicator suggests depletion. ### **Tracker Durability & Activation** - **Build Quality**: Solo 5G is **IP67-rated**, while Solo Lite is **IP65-rated**, ensuring strong water resistance. - **Activation**: Press and hold the **power button** until the blue LED blinks.
