Anonymous Reading

By default, users must be signed in to send commands or read data from Tive Tags Anonymous reading, however, allows users to read your Tags without having to sign in. This can be particularly helpful If you don’t know the specific users who will be receiving your Tags.

How to enable anonymous reading

  1. Click on your initials in the top right corner, then click Organization.
  2. In the General tab, scroll to the bottom. Under Settings for Tive Tags, enable Allow Anonymous Reading.

Hide shipment data from anonymous users

If you want to prevent anonymous users from viewing temperature data that was collected during the shipment, you can enable the setting to Hide tag result on anonymous readings. With this setting enabled, your anonymous users will still be able to capture and upload the shipment data for you to review; however, they will not be able to see it.
