Power On, Off, and Status
Power On: Follow the procedure below to turn on your tracker:
- Press and hold the Start button for 3 seconds to turn on the tracker
- A blue status light turns on to indicate the Solo has powered on
- Verify: Go to Tive Platform > Trackers > List > and find your tracker
- The Solo should show it's location in the Tive Platform within the next 30 min (assuming you have good cellular coverage in your area). If your Solo is ON and not reporting contact us
Power Off: By default, Solo 5G trackers cannot be turned off! If you need to turn OFF your tracker contact us
Power Status: After you tap the Start button, status light(s) will blink 5 times if the Solo is On:
- Blue light: only indicates power on - and not a status of battery remaining or connectivity
- Red light: indicates an error condition, contact us to troubleshoot
Power Troubleshooting : Pressing the Start button for up to 3 seconds, the blue light will blink 5 times when operating normally. If the blue light stays on for more than 10 seconds, or if a red light appears, contact us to help troubleshoot.
If the blue light is on for less than a half-second, or there is no light at all, contact us about your battery.
Best Location to Activate
We recommend turning on your tracker in a location where you have good cellular signal coverage. Some refrigerated cool rooms have poor cellular signal and may not allow the device to report data. In this case, it is recommended to turn on the device outside of the cool room 30 minutes prior.
Location Accuracy, Cellular Connectivity, and Battery Remaining
Tive Platform > Trackers > List is the only place to configure or view the status of your Solo, just follow the instructions in our Trackers Menu: Details guide.
