Connectivity and Battery Remaining
Tive Platform > Trackers > List is the only place to configure or view the status of your Beacon, just follow the instructions in our Platform Demo guide.
Using Beacon with Solo 5G or Flagship tracker:
Beacons work together with a parent tracker to report their location and temperature data back to the Tive data cloud. Solo 5G and Flagship trackers use Bluetooth technology to scan and detect nearby beacons (up to 100 beacons can be reported at a time). The beacons must be in close proximity to the parent tracker within 30 meters (100 feet) to correctly report their data back to the Tive data cloud.
The enable the Beacon Scanning feature on your trackers, please reach out to Tive Customer Support.
Link Beacons and Flagship/Solo 5G to a shipment:
On the Platform, view the Shipments panel and select create new Shipment. Fill in the necessary details about your shipment, and scroll down to the bottom of the page to link the parent trackers and Beacons of your choice.
