Location and condition alerts for Shipments and Trackers are configured with Alert Preset. To receive alerts regarding your shipment or tracker, create an alert Preset and apply it to the shipment/tracker.
Create an Alert Preset
On the top blue bar, click Configure > Alert Presets. Next, click on the “Create New Preset” button in the upper-right.
Once you reach the "Create Alert Preset" page, fill in the blank spaces by giving your Alert Preset a unique name and a description.
The "Notify Users" dropdown will allow you to navigate the Platform users and external users and choose the ones you want to receive these alerts.
The Sensors section will allow you to set specific thresholds for each tracker sensor (Temperature, Humidity, Light and Shock). Once these thresholds are breached, the tracker will notify you via email or SMS on the next scheduled transmission. *Please note that Light Alerts are immediate alerts that the tracker transmits as soon as light is detected in your shipment. This feature also be enabled on other sensors. Please let your Account Manager/Support Rep know if this is something that might be useful to you.
The Location alerts will allow you to be notified on Arrival and Departure or possible delays to either, and inform you once your tracker is inside or outside of a specified area (geofence).
The Device alerts will notify you if your tracker has lost Connectivity to the Platform or if the battery has depleted to a specified level.

Edit an existing Alert Preset
On the top blue bar, click Configure > Alert Presets.
To view the Alert Presets associated with a particular shipment or tracker navigate to that shipment or tracker's Alerts tab to see the alert preset attached. The names and user assignees of all Alert Presets currently applied to that shipment or tracker will be visible on the right side of the screen.
Edit an existing Alert Preset by navigating to the Alert Presets and click “Edit” next to the title of the Preset. You can then edit any of the Alert Preset fields. When you are finished, click “Save and Close”. The Alert Preset will now be updated, and any changes you have made will apply to all trackers and shipments that use that Preset.
Assign an existing Alert Preset
To apply an Alert Preset, navigate to a shipment or tracker and click “Alerts”. If the shipment or tracker currently has no Alert Presets applied to it, just click the green "Apply New Alert Preset" button. If it already has an Alert Preset applied to it, click “Configure”, and then click “Apply Alert Preset”. You can then select any of your existing Alert Presets from the drop-down menu to add it to the shipment or tracker.
Alert Events: List and Graph
In addition to sending notifications to the users assigned in the Alert Preset, all triggered alerts will also be visible as Events. View events by navigating to a particular shipment or tracker and clicking “Alerts”.
Events display the alert type and timestamp for when the alert was triggered. For example, if you configure an alert to notify you when temperature goes above a pre-set threshold, the event will be stored in the Events list once the alert is triggered. Click on the event to see additional event details.
