Shipment Templates are a core part of the Tive Shipment workflow. Shipment Templates make it easier to create shipments for commonly used shipping lanes. Shipment Templates include standard shipping details and Alert Preset(s) to be used across many shipments.

Viewing and Creating Shipment Templates
To view your existing Shipment Templates, navigate to "Configure" in the main menu and click "Shipment Templates". To create a new Shipment Template, click the green "Create New Shipment Template" button.
Enter a unique Name and Description for the template.
Next, add the Ship From and Ship To Addresses and any shipment Legs.
For Shipments that make more than one stop, multiple Legs can be created for each stop that the shipment will make. To create a Leg simply insert a Ship From Address, select the Mode (Road, Air, Ocean, Rail) and the Carrier, then add the Stop Address. A second Leg can be added by selecting "Add Stop" and adding a new Mode, Carrier, and Stop Address.
Finally, select which Alert Preset(s) you would like to attach to the Shipment Template.
When you are finished, click the green "Create" button at the top.
The template is now available for use.
Using Shipment Templates
When creating a new shipment, you'll be prompted to choose a template on the first step. Once chosen, the shipping details will now be set to the values defined in the Shipment Template.
If you would like to customize any of the shipment details, you can now edit any of the fields that were filled out automatically by the template.
Note that any edits you make will only be implemented on the particular shipment you are creating. Customizing shipment details for a particular shipment will not change the template.
