Finding your Tag
As soon as your Tag has been registered to your client, you will be able to find your Tag on the Tag Portal.
After logging in with a user affiliated with your organization, you can find an organized list of every Tag belonging to your organization under “Taglist”.
By pressing the “Taglist” button located at the top right corner of the screen, you will be able to see a list of all Tags associated with your user.
To find specific Tags, you can utilize the search and filter function found to the left of the Tag list.
Here you can:
- Use the search tab to search for a single Tag by using its TID (Tag ID), or searching for any words related to a Tags description.
- Specify the period for when the tag was started or read
- Filter the list by only showing Tags with specific profiles or filter the list by showing the Tags started/read by individual users.
- Searching in the custom fields of Tags. This works similarly to searching for description words but is specific to custom labels that are applied to the Tags when they are started.
Viewing Tag data
After reading a Tag, the data can be viewed on the Tag Portal. Once you’ve found and opened a Tag, you’ll see its overview page.
Here you will find general information and statistics of your Tag and the capability to view or download its logging data. The data is displayed in several formats, including maps, graphs, and tables.
The left side of the page lists some details about the Tag, such as its Tag ID, client information, what configuration profile is applied to it, and various timestamps. If the tag has been exposed to temperatures exceeding its set limits, it will show an alert and display information about the details.
The main section of the overview page contains 4 different tabs. Simply click on the tabs to browse between these. The one that appears on-screen by default is the chart, which displays the Tag data as a graph.
Exporting data
Exporting the data is easy. Simply open the Tag you’re interested in, and locate the two download buttons in the upper right corner, next to the round select drop-down menu.
The PDF button lets you download an automatically generated report of the Tag data. The contents of the report are similar to the information you’ll find on the Tag Portal but in a more compressed and easy-to-read manner.
CSV
This button downloads the data in a CSV format and contains every log point with temperature data and time stamps. This can be useful for the analysis of the data and keeping statistics.
