Tive Tag Overview

What are Tive Tags?

Tive Tags are low-cost temperature logging devices that look just like a shipping label! They are specifically designed to monitor the quality of your temperature-sensitive shipments and detect potential breaks in your cold chain. 

How it Works

After attaching a Tive Tag to your shipment, you simply have to start the Tag with an NFC-enabled device (i.e., an iPhone, Android smartphone, or a supported Zebra reader). Once your Tag is started, it will capture temperature data at regular, configurable intervals. When you’re ready to review the temperature data that your Tag has gathered, simply scan the Tag again using a similar NFC-enabled device, and the data will be uploaded directly to the Tive platform, where you can share and analyze the results.

How long will the Tive Tag last on a shipment?

While the Tive Tag battery can last for over a year, the device’s memory limits the number of temperature records it can store at one time. Below are some common measurement intervals and the corresponding time before the device runs out of memory:
